The Sunning One

This lady mountain lion/barn owl creature is my OC Roe, short for Rowanoak. She is a good bit sweeter than mister grumpy pants Wraith, though don't get me wrong she isn't angelic by any means. In terms of the art piece, the wings definitely need to big bigger and I am not exactly sure if the colors are right. The wing's don't seem to perfectly fit the body, though that is mainly because wings aren't really meant to be on a cat. I think maybe to fix that illusion I need to pull feathers up the back of the body and maybe switch the curve of the wings to fit her shape a little better. Also learned I need to take photos of my watercolor art because the scanner does something awful to them. Still like blocking out the colors with watercolor and layering them with color pencil.
