Foolish Flowers

These precious beauties just popped up in my garden today! Are they not wondrous in color? They need hardly any water and grow up so quickly in the spring. I planted the cones myself last fall.


Well then, Happy April Fools! Hope you like my pine cone flowers (they really do look like hyacinths from above) that are decorating my garden. I got the idea from the Renaissance Festival which had a few of these "growing" in the royal garden. A few pine cones, some wooden rods, 2 cans of spray paint and some super glue and patience is all that is needed to liven up your garden. I am sure more than a few people up north need a reminder that spring is coming soon.

I swear the next thing in my gallery will be something non crafty.
